A known academy in Canning Town is looking for a PMLD teacher to start with them from September 2021. The relevant candidate will be working with the resource provision. This school’s provision is well resourced, they have an experienced team with Lead teachers a SENCO and plenty of administration and Support. The picked candidate will be working closely with students with PMLD and Severe Autism. Many of the students will have severe autism, all students will have assistants and support staff.

The right teacher for this school will need to have:

· Experience of working with students with Autism or similar needs.

· Awareness of the procedure with regards to safeguarding in a school environment

· The Ability to plan and prepare for lessons The successful candidate for the Teacher of Maths will:

· Hold DfE Qualified Teacher Status, an undergraduate degree.

· Be an outstanding practitioner who inspires pupils and have experience of teaching in successful Inner London school.

· Have a track record of successful learning and teaching and delivering results.

· Be creative in delivering a rigorous, academic curriculum.

· Believe that every child can and will succeed.

· Be flexible, collaborative and resilient.

· Contribute to the whole life of the school through our extensive enrichment programme.

· Have the highest ambitions for your pupils, the department, the school and yourself.
